The summer intensive will be offered again this year at the San Pedro Ballet School. San Pedro Ballet School has planned another exciting program for this summer with Alexei Moskalenko and Anastasia Prokofieva. Alexei Moskalenko received his training at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia. He has performed as Principal Dancer with the Bolshoi Ballet, Moscow Classical Ballet, and the Moscow Dance Theater before coming to the US, where he has performed with such companies as Ballet Memphis, Miami Ballet, South Ballet of Florida, Salt Creek Ballet, Ballet Nova, San Pedro City Ballet, Little Rock Ballet and many other companies. In 1994, he founded the American School of Russian Ballet where he was Artistic Director for 7 years. From 2001 to present he is Master Teacher and Judge at YAGP International Ballet Competition. He currently continues appearing as a guest teacher, coach and choreographer internationally and across the USA for summer programs and workshops. |
Anastasia Prokofieva received her training at the Bolshoi Theatre School of Dance, as well as at the Russian Professional Arts Academy in Moscow, Russia where she got her Masters degree in pedagogy and choreography (Ballet-master of Classical Ballet). Ms. Prokofieva worked with Nina Ananiashvili and A. Fadeychev’s Dance Company assisting and training the dancers, as well as being a solo/korde-ballet coach. Since coming to Phoenix, Arizona in 2005, she has been teaching at the School of Ballet of Arizona and traveling across the United States teaching in over ten different schools. |
